The MS Amlin ‘Peace of Mind’ garden explores the psychology of colour and the impact of colour on human perception. The kaleidoscope of colour in a garden has an inherent ability to influence our mood with feelings of joy, harmony and calm.
The planting is laid out to reference the colour wheel, but in a 3 dimensional space, applying planting colour principles that complement and contrast to create planting combinations for maximum impact.
Custom seating is immersed amongst the planting to take full advantage of the therapeutic effects of being connected to nature. The aim of the garden is to be grounded in the moment to mindfully observe plants and colour which can enhance mood and benefit mental wellbeing.
We tend to plants and they tend to us.
